Dolly Parton Angry Over Howard Stern Clips

Dolly Parton is apparently upset over a audio clipping edit that aired last week.

“In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth. They have done editing or some sort of trickery to make this horrible, horrible thing. Please accept my apology for them and certainly know I had nothing to do with this. If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it’s going to be over this. Just wanted you to know that I am completely devastated by this.”"

Seriously, I don’t think anyone took this audio mash-up as if it were her own words. Dear lord everyone listening to the Howard Stern Show must have thought that it was actually Dolly speaking out and talking about her likes and past experiences. Dolly must have gotten soo much feedback from the clips being aired that she just had to make a public statement on her website.

Will Dolly Parton sue…No. Is this good for her career to be brought back for a quick minute of news…Yes. Chalk one up for Dolly Parton’s PR team as at least we know someone in her camp is a Sirius Satellite subscriber.
